Cool Boss Features Explained

From high-efficiency evaporative media to powerful airflow, automatic water management and jobsite-ready mobility, explore the features engineered into Cool Boss evaporative air coolers.

More than just moving air.

Cool Boss evaporative air coolers combine high-volume airflow with water-efficient evaporative cooling and practical features designed for demanding work environments.

From Honeycool™ evaporative media to automatic water controls, rugged casters, lighting and select Bluetooth®-equipped models, every feature is designed to make cooling simpler and more useful.

Features designed for real work.

Cool Boss models combine efficient evaporative cooling with practical features that help keep work areas comfortable and equipment easy to use.

01

Honeycool™ Evaporative Media

Resin-covered hexagonal media allows air to pass through while helping prevent water from pooling at the rear of the cooler.

02

Automatic Water Shutoff

Automatic water shutoff helps prevent wasted water while filling the reservoir from a hose.

03

Low Water Shutoff

An automatic low-water shutoff helps protect the cooler when reservoir levels become too low.

04

Durable Casters

Oversized casters make it easier to move the cooler where it is needed and lock it in place.

05

Axial-Flow Fan Design

The axial-flow fan design is engineered to move a high volume of air while supporting efficient operation.

06

LED Floodlight

Select Cool Boss models feature an adjustable 80W floodlight rated at 4,000 lumens for added work-area illumination.

07

Built-In Speakers

Select models include Bluetooth® audio and built-in speakers for music, podcasts and other audio.

08

Automatic Swing Louvers

Available on the COOLBREEZE Series, automatic swing louvers help direct airflow across the desired cooling area.

Inside the COOLBLAST Series.

Explore the individual components and convenience features identified in the diagrams above.

01

Fill Cap

If you don't want your cooler connected to a garden hose, the reservoir can be manually filled through the fill cap located on the front of the Cool Boss.

02

Water Level Indicator

Easily check the reservoir water level using the indicator located beneath the axial-flow fan.

03

Blue Flex™ Axial-Flow Fan

The axial-flow design and flexible fan blades are engineered to move a high volume of air while supporting efficient operation.

Cool Boss directional Venturi fan cone
04

Directional Venturi Fan Cone

The directional Venturi fan cone concentrates air velocity as it passes through, creating a more powerful and directional blast of chilled air.

Cool Boss LED floodlight
05

LED Floodlight

The COOLBLAST Series includes an adjustable 80W outdoor-rated floodlight producing 4,000 lumens of light for added work-area visibility.

06

Horizontal Stackable Design

Built-in stacking points make it possible to stack compatible coolers horizontally when they need to be stored out of the way.

08

Shutoff Timer

Set the air cooler to automatically turn off after a selected period instead of having to return and shut it down manually.

Cool Boss remote control
09

Remote Control

A wireless remote lets you operate cooler settings from a distance, while a front-mounted holder provides a convenient place to store it.

Cool Boss GFCI plug
10

GFCI Plug

The GFCI plug monitors electrical current and is designed to interrupt power if a ground fault is detected.

11

Locking Casters

Oversized rugged casters make the cooler mobile, while locking functionality helps keep it securely positioned once in place.

Cool Boss water guard
12

Water Guard

The water guard helps catch water and reduce spills around the cooler.

Cool Boss Honeycool evaporative media
13

Honeycool™ Evaporative Media

Hot air is drawn through the water-saturated evaporative media before cooled air is discharged from the front of the unit.

Cool Boss built-in Bluetooth speakers
14

Built-In Speakers

Built-in Bluetooth® audio and stereo speakers let compatible Cool Boss models play music, podcasts, audiobooks and other audio.

15

360° Handle

The 360-degree handle provides multiple grip positions to make maneuvering the cooler easier whether the reservoir is empty or full.

Cool Boss flow control valve
16

Flow Control Valve

Adjust water flow to balance evaporative cooling performance with reservoir runtime between fill-ups.

17

Constant Water Inlet

Connect a garden hose to the water inlet for an automatically refilling reservoir that can support extended cooling operation.

COOLBREEZE Series

COOLBREEZE models bring Cool Boss evaporative cooling to another platform, including automatic swing louvers for directional airflow.
