APEX surrounds the foam core with a rugged textured coating that helps protect the ramp from abrasion, impacts, oil, and common garage chemicals. The micro-textured surface helps grip both the tire and the floor, so the ramps are designed to stay where you put them during drive-on use. Because there is no metal body, the 48-inch kit will not rust or scratch epoxy, coated concrete, or decorative garage floors. It is a cleaner, quieter, easier-to-live-with garage ramp for people who work on their cars often and want the equipment to keep up.
